Geotechnical Engineer and company Director. Fred has been working in WA since about the time Adam was a boy.

    • Fred is a consulting geotechnical engineer with 40 years’ experience. His experience lies in project management, geotechnical investigation and reporting for multi-storey buildings, water supply dams, sediment retention structures, tailings dams, waste dumps, airport and road pavements, mine infrastructure, residential and commercial developments, harbour works, slope and foundation failures, earthworks projects, piled structures, drainage works and waste water treatment plants. He is also experienced in soil structure issues relating to structures and infrastructure constructed on expansive clay soils and collapsing soils, foundation analysis and construction issues.
    • He is based in Perth, Western Australia (WA) and has worked throughout WA as well as Indonesia, Pakistan and New Caledonia.

rickRick PIOVESAN

Geotechnical Engineer and company Director.

    • Rick is a consulting geotechnical engineer with nearly 30 years’ experience. His experience lies in geotechnical investigation and reporting for large mining and civil infrastructure projects, harbours, low-rise and high-rise buildings and land development.
    • He is also experienced in geotechnical modelling (including finite element modelling), pile design, foundation analysis, earthworks materials sourcing and evaluation, field testing and construction issues.
    • He is based in Perth, Western Australia (WA) and has worked throughout WA as well as several countries in southern Africa. He has also carried out geotechnical investigations in Georgia and Mongolia.

owenOwen WOODLAND

Geotechnical Engineer and company Director

    • Owen is a consulting geotechnical engineer with nearly 20 years’ experience. His experience lies in project management, geotechnical investigation and reporting for infrastructure, water retaining dams, surface water drainage, low-rise and high-rise buildings, land development, harbours, mining and transport. He is also experienced in geotechnical modelling (including finite element modelling), foundation analysis and construction issues. He has experience in installation, reading and interpretation of geotechnical monitoring equipment. He is also experienced in geotechnical data capture and management, including the use of gINT software.
    • Owen is a chartered engineer (CPEng) and a registered professional engineer in Queensland (RPEQ).

Harry CHAMBERS

Geotechnical Engineer

    • Harry Chambers is a geotechnical engineer who has been working for Galt for around 8 years. His experience lies in pavement design and construction (including forensic assessment, rehabilitation, design and construction support for roads, highways and industrial pavements), materials search, geotechnical investigation, earthworks verification, pile design and finite element and limit state equilibrium geotechnical software analysis.

Damon CLARK

Geomatics Consultant

    • Damon is an experienced professional within the spatial industry having worked for major engineering consultants, mining companies and a web mapping business.
    • Damon manages the acquisition, storage, security and presentation of geographical, geotechnical and cartographic information using a variety of industry standard software.
    • He also has excellent Civil Design skills using CAD and has designed extensive infrastructure including HV and LV roads, earthwork pads, surface water and buried drainage, water retaining dams and associated infrastructure.
